SIMPLY SATISFACTION, Michael Milano

Simply Satisfaction: Cobots do everything (but what you want to do) explores a spectrum of satisfaction created by utilizing collaborative automation while giving the user the ability to step in and out of any part of the task. Through the different steps of the laundry process, this negotiation of labor explores how the user is repositioned in the task, while critically questioning what extent a human needs to be involved and what the user will choose to automate for optimal enjoyment. The devices interrogate what makes parts of doing laundry satisfying, both in the moment and in time.
