Media Design Practices (MDP) is an interdisciplinary design MFA preparing designers for our new now. Ours is a time of constant change: technological transformations, global inequity, and environmental uncertainty. We are daring, critical, and engaged.

With a grounding in creative technology, experimental making, and social action, MDP graduates are unafraid to use design to question the present. Our alumni go on to become design leaders in a diverse set of fields: major technology firms, innovative nonprofit organizations, and independent design practices.
